Christian Resources Together 2015
THIS YEAR’S Christian Resources Together retreat takes place over two days in September, Tues 15th – Weds 16th, but don’t let the fact that it’s later than in previous years catch you out: bookings are already approaching two-thirds of last year’s attendance — leaving it to the last minute could leave you out in the cold with the autumn leaves!
If you’re a newcomer to the Christian trade or if you’ve never attended before, why not make 2015 the year you connect with the rest of the trade? Delegates come from across the entire spectrum of the Christian retail world: authors, agents, booksellers, publishers, suppliers and wholesalers, making CRT a unique opportunity to meet, engage and interact with one another in ways that are simply not otherwise possible.
This year’s speakers include amongst others: the Rt Revd John Pritchard, former Bishop of Oxford and prolific writer; Mick Brooks of CWR fame; Rob Parsons, OBE, who surely needs no introduction as a well known Christian writer & speaker; and Pen Wilcock, author of the Hawk & Dove series and regular columnist for Woman Alive magazine.
As well as the guest speakers there’s a packed seminar programme featuring a wide range of topics; to name just three: Christian fiction; Bibles — The Heart of Christian Retailing; and Bible Reading Notes & Resources. You won’t be able to attend them all but the good news is that they’re recorded so you can catch up on those you miss later.
On top of all that, there’s the Meet the Suppliers exhibition running across both days, with so many exhibitors already confirmed that it’s impossible to list them all, many keen to woo you with samples and free product. Last but not least, it would be extremely remiss of me not to mention the CRT Awards Ceremony and Presentations, when all that is excellent in our trade is acknowledged and celebrated with awards for people, places, products and service.
